★★☆☆☆
Mediocre. Not an original Kiseh.
I would give it 4 stars. It's a good kiseh. But it's not as hardcore or good quality as an original Persian Kiseh and ergo, doesn't really go as deep as I'm used to. So I docked two stars off. After washing in warm water, I scrubbed and had lots of "chirk" fall off (Persian word for dead skin cells). It does the job to a degree but loses its "scrub-ility" after some time. A real Kiseh is thicker, unlike this thin flimsy replica, and can be used for years if taken care of properly. Fun History Fact: it originated and was used in Persian and Turkish bathhouses for centuries to reveal beautiful skin underneath. The word Kiseh itself, pronounced "KEE-SEH" is a Persian word referring to a "sack" or cloth-like material to carry as a bag. Its hard to find an authentic Kiseh so this is pretty close to what works. But again, if you're used to the real deal you might not feel as clean as you would with Sefidab (powdered tab used as soap) and a real Kiseh. If this is your first time, you should try it out. The level of exfoliation is good for sensitive skin as well. It is an okay kiseh-replica to start off your body exfoliation journey with. *The picture I attached is not of my body but the advertised picture of the company. Sadly, I discarded the Kiseh because it stopped working after a month or two. But when it did work, the results were very accurate to the picture I've posted. This is just to show an accurate depiction of what your results may look like.
