I received this bookshelf today and the 3-tier bookshelf as well. I put the 3-tier bookshelf together and had ZERO problems. It's cute and serves its purpose. However, when I got to putting together the 4-tier bookshelf I had SEVERAL problems. First off, there was a separation in one of the pieces of wood that I will probably have to gorilla glue if I don't throw it in the garbage first. The second problem I ran into was that the screws were too long and would break through the other side and then crack the wood. This causes another problem because it is extremely unsightly and also dangerous for little fingers reaching in to grab a book. So anyway, now half of this bookshelf is not screwed all the way together and the other half that did screw in cracked the wood and show an exposed sharp nail. I cant even return this product because I refuse to try to dissemble it and shove it back into a box and drag it down to the post office. Sadly, this purchase was a waste of my money and my time.
