I purchased this item early October 2015. I really liked this bookstand in the beginning, and purchased the item because it had some raving reviews. However, I am kind of upset that the back part where you adjust the tilt of the stand is broken and I didn't use it too often. Perhaps like 3 or 4 times since I had purchased it. I usually used it to hold my printed journal articles or small books (I am a student), so I am bummed that it broke so quickly. Just be aware that it is made of plastic and I personally would not put a heavy textbook on it because it will eventually break considering how quickly it broke with me.
