Original 928 vs 928v2
I have been an original 928 user for quite some time. I have had two foot surgeries; have knee issues as well as hip and back issues. This new version of the 928 (v2) is nothing like the original 928. Having worn the new version for several weeks I noticed pain in my feet, knees and hips. I have prescribed orthotics and have to wear them all the time. The original 928 gave me great support and held the orthotics for overpronation where they should be. The 928 v2 I found did not allow my orthotics to provide me with the support I needed. I found the new version to "feel" flatter when walking - not giving me the support and uplifting feel I needed. New Balance has once again changed the structure of a shoe that was working so well for those who needed all that support and cushioning. Would love to know what others think who have relied on the original 928 with success versus the new version. I will be periodically checking in on Amazon to see what others think.
