I would give these zero stars if possible. Initially, I was very happy with these. They were easy to set up using Alexa (no hub, no extra app) and worked perfectly. However, then our Xfinity had a planned outage that lasted several hours. With the WiFi out, I figured these would just function as normal lights but nope - every 30 seconds or so they’d flash. Then, when the WiFi finally came back, two of them (in same light fixture) are unresponsive. I’ve deleted and re-discovered them multiple times in Alexa app and even downloaded the Hue app thinking there must be a a way to reset them, but no luck there either. I’ve spent over an hour going back and forth deleting and re-discovering them in both apps and they keep showing up unresponsive. So basically I paid $25 for a pair of regular light bulbs because an uncontrollable WiFi outage rendered them useless. Cool. For the price, they should be resilient despite internet outages because let’s be honest, nobody’s internet works 24/7 365 days a year so it’s ridiculous that they won’t reset after this.
