Looks and works great, if only the other problems didn't render those points irrelevant. The plunger is designed with a flared lip on the inside that means no matter how much you shake it out there is still a whole lot (1/4 cup or more) of water that is retained in the plunger head... that's right, the same water that just came out of what was most likely your waste filled toilet bowl. Yummy. On top of that, the rubber they used for this STINKS. So much so that the entire bathroom reeked from the rubber off-gassing smell. Thought perhaps that it was just new and that the smell would fade. No such luck. 6 months later I finally tossed it after being fed up with the intense rubber smell every time you open the bathroom door. Shame too because the canister designed to hold the plunger was both clever and attractive but it can't make up for the two fatal design flaws outlined above.
