I was really appreciating using two of these heaters to help offset the cost of having baseboard heat firing full blast all winter. Thermostat worked excellent on these units to only have them run when needed. I never used extension cords or did anything I was not supposed to do to my knowledge. After having to move one of them, I unplugged it to find my wall socket kind of melted, as well as the plug on the heater unit. I wont be using these ever again since I am afraid of what this could do further, or what it is doing to the wiring of my home (modular and built to code). That cost savings is not worth using my much safer heating sources. Got about 3 months out of these before I now feel like they are going to just be giant paper weights. Too bad really...
