Grass-fed? Kettle rendered? Fine filtered? NOPE, NOPE, AND NOPE!
Note the words in the product title: "Compare to . . . ". NOWHERE ELSE does it mention grass-fed, because it's not. They are deceptively saying their product COMPARES to grass-fed, kettle rendered, and fine filtered (apparently "fatworks" grass-fed tallow). They are not saying that theirs is, because IT'S NOT! The low quality pictures don't help to discern this, either. But, stupidly, I ordered this product, didn't see anywhere on the front of the label that it said grass-fed, completely studied the label, re-read their full description, and then realized that this product is not grass-fed beef tallow. I guess if you want it for soapmaking, that's no problem; however, "food grade" beef tallow is not what I'm looking for to eat (It's probably c.a.f.o., maybe Chinese in origin?). To Amazon's credit, even though this product is not returnable, they gave me a full refund.
