Like others that have posted, I have a lemon. The pool cleaner does an awesome job when it is working. However, it has been in for repairs twice under warranty now and just died again. The problem will start with the cleaner not turning on periodically. After a while, it simply will not power on. I am going to push my local service center for a replacement. The company that makes this robot needs to recall it. It is very clear that it is a crap shoot as to whether your unit will work during the warranty and/or beyond. Update: This thing has been in for repairs now 4 times. The most recent issue is that the swivel power connector had been leaking and was corroded. The new power cord is much thinner with a smaller float; however now the pool cleaner acts different and can no longer handle stairs without tipping over on its side and eventually just stopping. I basically have to sit outside and keep pulling on the cord to free it from various corners and to tip it back over. Best of luck to you if you invested in this terrible piece of equipment. I miss my Aquabot!
