On December 30th, 2020 I bought two of these pieces of garbage. Plus two expensive decorator color and a two pack of replacement filters. Total outlay of pretty close to $400.00, and of course I checked to see that there was a guarantee on these products. Thought they were made is Sweden, as is suggested in all of thier advertising. Well, at almost exactly to the day, after 6 months both units "needed" a filter replacement...no problem, I had them already. After carefully replacing the filters, following the directions exactly, WITH FILTERS MADE BY BLUEAIR both units refused to work properly. After several attempts to get the red light to go off, for the fan to stop rattling and for the units to operate, I contacted Blueair, company to ask them to honor thier written warranty. I was told, rather tersely, that they do NOT cover thier products or honor thier warranty, and that I need to make Amazon replace them. Amazon doesn't take returns past 30 days. I now own two expansive units that do not work, and a company that denies any culpability or responsibility. I also found out that these pieces of garbage are not made in Sweden, they are made in China, which explains why they are cheap and stop working well before thier "warrantee" runs up. If it was just one unit that stopped working, I would figure it was just bad luck...but when two out of two stop working, within days of each other, one has to suspect that they are fatally flawed. SAVE YOUR MONEY. If I could give negative stars these and thier manufacturer would be -5
