After a couple of months the corners and edges of this mattress became compressed so that sizable gaps were present between the mattress and the corners of the crib. These gaps were ~3 inches on all 4 corners, which is plenty of space for a baby's limb to become trapped. The manufacturer had us send in about a dozen photos of the mattress, its tags, and part of the vinyl cover in order to obtain a replacement. The same issue developed in the exact same timeframe with the replacement mattress. We have been using Sealy-branded mattress protectors and regular fitted sheets, so it's puzzling that this problem developed. We'll be choosing a different replacement this time.
