UPDATE: My rabbit has figured out he can chew through the material, there goes my thick MacBook cord...this cord cover does not protect cords from a rabbit. I ordered several different types of protection for various cables and this one was my favorite. It takes a couple of minutes to slip the cord through the split, but once it's on it does the trick and isn't too bulky or inflexible. I highly recommend this sleeve to keep pets from chewing cords.
