Virtually smokeless are the key words here, I cooked a small rib-eye for my first meal on this grill and it was a good thing I set it up under the hood fan of my stove as it generated a LOT of smoke not a VIRTUAL amount also the ad doesn't tell you its a "as seen on tv" item.
