I purchased the Rare Blue And White Point Dahlia Seeds in April 2019. I sowed them indoors in May in a propagator. I used 3 seeds per pod for a total of 8 pods, total 24 seeds used. Only 4 pods germinated. I live in a cooler climate so I was slow to harden them off outside. In June I planted the pods in pots and moved them outside. This past week one of the 4 pods bloomed into this Yellow Pinnate Dahlia. Although beautiful in its own right, it is not the flower I thought I was purchasing. The other 3 plants are doing well. No flowers yet. Next spring I shall sow all seeds and see if they are all the same or different varieties of Dahlias. I still would love to have the true flower advertised.
