My husband and I took this out for the first time for a short 30 minute walk around the neighborhood with my 2 1/2 month old son. Upon coming home and removing him from the carrier we noticed a small patch of skin on his leg that had been rubbed raw! Imagine if we had taken this out for a longer period of time, how worse it could have been! The cause was from a rough seam where the two halves of the inside of carrier meet and are sewn together towards the bottom of the carrier. I wrote to the manufacturer and they said they will forward my problem to their customer manager but I haven't heard anything from them since. All in all, the carrier was a bit clunky with lots of dangling straps. We would have just dealt with that but this was the final straw.
