I'm a bit disappointed that this did not meet my expectations. First, I'll admit that I have a lot of shoes (and so does my boyfriend). We both have a small obsession with shoes, and I like a variety of different styles. This shoe rack did not make the cut. Putting it together out of the box was easy, almost fun. Adding the shoes to the rack to free up floor space was such a feeling of relief...until all the shoes started falling off the rack every time we open the closet door. We tried rearranging the shoes - we thought, maybe we should put the heavier shoes on the bottom and lighter shoes up top. Still a total fail. My boyfriend's shoes are no bigger than a size 9 and I'm a size 5.5 so we don't have huge feet. For whatever reason, the shoes push against the door and make a space which then allows all the shoes to fall off. It's extremely annoying and now all the shoes are back on the floor, again...
