The pan is fine. The lid is the problem... I seared a pork tenderloin on the stove top (Gas) and once I removed the meat from the pan and placed the lid on top to cool down (heat is now turned off) my boyfriend and I started to hear a crackling noise. We were searching all over for it when all of a sudden there was a loud bang and the entire glass lid exploded into smart glass bits and went shooting all over the kitchen! I had to grab my puppy from the floor and my boyfriend had to quickly try to get everything off the ground and check our clothes and hair for glass shards. So disappointing from this brand as it is known for great cookware... I don't really expect to have to run from glass shards when the product is being used for its intended purpose (Glass explosion actually happened when there was no heat under the pan!)
