a Little too short for a memoir
Bristol Palin, the third place runner up dancer on Dancing With The Stars and the daughter of Sarah Palin, wrote a memoir. Being the daughter of vice presidental running mate, she and her teen pregnancy were thrusted into the media limelight...that isnt a great reason to have a biography. At least, her mother was governor of Alaska
The books makes her out like a child spoiled. A teen mother with a life of privledge given a light to shine. Her previous relationship with her baby's father is the sum of tabloit headlines and TMZ
I am so glad that the talented Nancy French cowrote this book with her. You can tell that French brings a maturity to Palin's words.
Now to the audio presenation, Palin cannot narrate. She does try. She make give her candid viewpoint on being a teen mother. I know she gives speeches on pro-life topics, this audio in a way sounds like a seven hour speech. For this reason alone, it makes this presenation weak and child-ish. As I said previously, Nancy French give this book a maturity. Bristol's narrative skills brings it back to a child's level..well she is a still a young adult. I would have suggested an actress reading this instead of her.
Being a teen mother does not give a good reason to showcase her life. She may or may not be a good single mother, but all this book seems is a platform for a life of excess and silver spoon-ism.
I say if this was the only thing available in the book store, still debate getting it. I cannot reconmend it at all..as a book or an audio production. Miss this one TOTALLY
