I would not recommend this. I bought this trap to catch a squirrel that was in our attic. While the trap was easy to set, the trigger plate inside is very sharp. I did catch the squirrel but while the squirrel was trying to get out, the trigger plate skinned the top of the squirrels head so it had a quarter size piece of skin missing. And it also broke the trigger plate off. This trap is dangerous to the animal, in that it causes it to suffer by cutting it. I saw someone ask if it could be used for kittens, DO NOT USE THIS. the animals inside will get cut and suffer. Please thumb up this review to spread the word.
