What a joke!
This is a joke! I am thinking the people with the photos of a gazillion fleas on their trap either have a serious flea problem or spilled some pepper. I would say I have a minimal flea problem with finding 4-8 fleas on my dog every other day and a few on her bed. I also have wood floors in my house with minimal rugs which may have factored into the lamps effectiveness, that being said...I received my flea trap light with much anticipation. It was a total flop. I plugged it in and set it up by my dog's bed just waiting for my victims. The next morning what did I find? One flea. So I thought maybe it needs more time. Four days I left it plugged in and nothing. On the fourth day I set it on my dog's bed. I actually saw a flea and followed it with this light begging and pleading for it to join its little friend. When it finally decided to jump on the trap it actually jumped back off! I wouldn't give up though and finally the second time he jumped on it he stuck. Ugh! No flea in its right mind would leave the comfort and warmth of your pet for the barren wasteland of a lamp. So bring forth the optimist in myself. I decided to make the most of this wastebasket weight and turn it into a lovely light fixture! I cut up an old hymnal and used double stick tape to put it together. I replaced the bulb with a led bulb and hung it up. It is actually a nice addition to my office. So if your looking for a nice afternoon craft project buy this flea lamp.
