This item worked well for about one month then it began leaking water every time it came close to being low in water. At first, I thought that I was spilling water as I was removing the holding tank and refilling it. But I soon realized that it was the unit itself that was draining water all over my wood dresser. The unit spilled water so badly that the water left a large pool on my dresser top that completely warped and ruined my dresser. I am very upset that I trusted this unit to hold water. This is a manufacturer's defect and you should BE VERY AWARE that it cannot be trusted. I wanted to like this unit and provide a positive review but I would NOT RECOMMEND this unit as it will cost you unwanted expenses replacing the furniture you place it on.
