yeah, suffered through 6 episodes and I am done.
The one star in my rating is for the show's 20% accuracy to the books. This is NOT James Rigney's (Robert Jordan's) Wheel of Time. If you enjoy way-overdone gore, and lesbian porn, but have never read the Wheel of Time, this show is for you. Scenes are constantly being inserted, and storylines written, that Robert Jordan never wrote in. The Dragon Reborn is always a man. The only time I remember a person being spun back into the pattern with a changed gender is when the Dark One did it. Siuan's romantic interest is Gareth Bryne, and Moiraine's is Thom Merrilin. Why the need to change this up?! I get that there need to be some changes when making a movie out of a book, let alone a book series of this magnitude, but the list of changes to key storylines is way too long to continue here. The Dark One, the Father of Lies, has his perverted counterfeit for everything that is good. This TV show is his counterfeit for the Wheel of Time. I wanted so badly to enjoy this, but I am DONE.
