I really wanted to like these bags... They look and feel nice. The flap is a neat idea to better protect the zipper. However, when allowed to sit in a newspaper fire for no more than a minute, the bag fell apart at the seams. The bag's main material seemed to survive, but when the seams were gone the inside content was burned to ash. My only other complaint is that the string and plastic handle attached to the zipper seems to come apart easily. Simply opening and closing the bag a few times caused the string to come out. Seems like the product has good potential, but there are a few issues to work out. It would probably be ok as long as it was not the first and only line of defense against a fire. However, since I bought this primarily for the fire protection, I have to give it a 1-star review.
