I am beyond mad! If I could sue I would! This is going to be a long review! I built a 10 gallon planted tank put about $500 into this one tank. Bought 15-20 lbs of substrate and bought some seryiu stone(neither are cheap). I get these seeds in and germinate my tank. About 10-14 days go by I have a full carpet of what seems to be Dwarf Baby Tears, and they are beautiful! So I fill the tank and let it cycle. Still beautiful! I transfer these “Dwarf Baby Tears” to 2 other tanks. About this time I noticed them doing something odd. They are getting bigger, longer leaves. So I figure this is because the leaves aren’t getting cleaned off so the plants are trying to get more light by growing the leaves. (I really wish I would have just asked someone at this point) I add about $80 in shrimp. My shrimp start dying within a couple days. Test my water to see if my parameters are bad. Higher Ph, but nothing that should harm the shrimp. I add Ph correct and lower Ph immediately. As well as add CO2 for long term Ph corrections. I add more shrimp as well as some Tetra. Shrimp die again! At this point I start suspecting the plants. Everything is perfect otherwise, and fish are dying in all 3 tanks. I posted on a well known forum for help. Come to find out I don’t have Dwarf Baby Tears. I have Hygrophila Polysperma!!!! Hygrophila Polysperma BTW is a noxious plant and is illegal to sell in the US! It’s on the FEDERAL NOXIOUS WEED LIST! Are you F$&@$?! KIDDING ME?!! After finding out this information I try to remove the plants, but since they are weeds, I CAN’T KILL THEM!!! They keep coming back! I have lost over $200 in fish! I now have to buy more substrate $$$! Most of my decorations ($50 in rocks and $20 in Driftwood) That’s just 1 tank!!! That doesn’t includes my wife’s tank or my Brother-in-law’s tank! Which I feel terrible for!!! The worst product I have ever bought!
