Toxic Ingredients, Poor Customer Support
You would think that any product you buy from this line would be gentle without potentially toxic chemicals, as advertised. As a busy Mom I don't always have time to research every product I purchase. I just want to trust a label and be done with it. I trusted Babyganics. I used this detergent over others because it gave me the impression of being the safest. Well, it's not. Not only is it not safe, it has a bunch of nasty ingredients.
Pop on over to EWG's website and google this product. Here is the link, http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/3402-Babyganics3xLaundryDetergentLavender. It is rated F and for good reason!
One particularly nasty ingredient is SODIUM BORATE, ANHYDROUS. Which is of high concern for developmental/endocrine/reproductive effects. Why would you want this in a product you wash baby clothes with?! You can see a full list of the potential toxic ingredients on EWG's website.
I emailed Babyganics about my concerns, asking if they had changed their formula recently and if they could check what version of the product I have with the lot number. That was a week ago. No response. F for customer support too.
The detergent itself did a well enough job but I was never thrilled about it. The scent never lasted.
If you want the safest, best for your baby buy this: http://www.amazon.com/Seventh-Generation-Natural-Laundry-Detergent/dp/B00O3GPCG4/ref=sr_1_1?srs=7301146011&ie=UTF8&qid=1437254027&sr=8-1&keywords=seventh+generation+natural+powder
