Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I think it's very strange that there's separate reviews for every color of this same mouse. Looks like someone is trying to avoid having all their reviews in one place. I have purchased over 20 of these Verbatum optical travel mouses with retractable USB cable (Metro model) in the past few years. I'm the closest thing you'll find to an expert on their performance. See below for my comments: PROS - Small, super lightweight - Great for carpal tunnel, this is why I use it (light weight puts less pressure on your wrist when moving it around all day) - Handy for travel and the retractable cable actually works pretty well and lasts - As far as I can tell, it performs well and is quite accurate CONS - Just one con but it's an important one. This mouse does not last. The most you'll get out of it is about 18 months of regular use. For me, because I travel so much and use my laptop about 15 hours a day, average duration is about 10-12 months before it breaks. Cable is fine, that's not problem. Mouse just stops working. You'll know it because the LED red light inside goes dead. Mouse just stops working. I keep buying them because I haven't found a better one yet and haven't had time to go buy a bunch to test them out. Most of the other models out there will be bigger than this one and some will be smaller, this one us just the right size and weight for me.
