A can opener right. What is so difficult about a can opener. On certain cans it works like it should. On others it refused to work and would slip as the handle was turned and would work its way up so the blade would not be cutting the can. Took many attempts to open a single can. I finally had the time to really look at it to see WTH was the problem. It turns out cans that are a heavier gauge metal put pressure on the opener forcing the top and bottom handles to widen. The gear loses traction and slips. I find it works when I use the heal of my hand to push to the right while my fingers put pressure on the top handle to the left so the gears do not separate losing contact. Poor design. I do not recommend.
