Do It Yourself
Growing an avacado tree is very slow. It takes 2-5 weeks for the seed to start growing. During this time you won't see any changes. So it is a doubtful idea for a present. It takes 5-6 years for the tree to produce a fruit. Besides, only some trees do. If you still determined to grow the avacado tree you don't actually need this product. The product comes with no avacado seed. And a plastic tray alone surely is not worth $11. My suggestion would be: do it yourself. Take a small piece of wrapping foam, cut a hole in the middle, and put an avacado seed in the hole. The result will be exactly the same.
