this is a really bad design, the inside has a part in the back that faces into the catbox, on the back side, you will have to keep a putty knife on hand to get in to the crevice. the fact that the front is rounded out makes it hard for scooping, as scoopers are normally squared off. I really do not get the part that is indented on the inside, there is absolutely no reason for it, and it makes it really hard to clean out.
