I bought the couch and the lounger, and I am disappointed about both. First, both pieces look great! They look sleek and modern, straight out of an Italian furniture catalogue. But that's about the only thing going on for them. Besides their aesthetic value, their functionality is limited. I have a slim build (5'10" and 155 lbs) and I cannot stand sitting on them for longer than 20 minutes. The foam padding is very very thin, and not high-density. You can feel the inner structure after sitting on it for 20 minutes, and sometimes the mechanism that holds the backrest up will suddenly snap and you'll fall back! Kinda scary... not to mention a hazard since you may slam your head against anything placed behind the fouton. If you sit on it for longer than 45 minutes, your back will begin hurting. As a sleeping surface, it is rather useless. If you lay on it for 30 minutes you will feel the same discomfort as sitting up. I placed a nice, plush mattress topper on it hoping that would do the trick, but it only makes it feel like marginally better. Like I said... pretty to look at, but it lacks any functionality!
