Just to let everyone know, as most people seem to be missing: This product does NOT contain 500mg of resveratrol per serving! It contains 500mg of what they call "Resveratrol COMPLEX", which to them means "resveratrol... mixed with stuff that's not resveratrol". There could legally be 2mg of actual resveratrol in here. Upon inspection, it looks like it's mostly grape seed extract. Which is inexpensive. Not bad, just inexpensive, and not resveratrol. To me, a complex means DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF THE SAME SPECIE. For instance, a carotenoid complex would contain beta carotene, alpha carotene, and other carotenoids. But they'd all be under the banner of carotenoids. So, goldfish bones would not be something that could legitimately be part of a "carotenoid complex". Maybe the mfr thinks these other ingredients contain resveratrol. I'm too tired to look it up now, but if they do, it's in trace amounts. Yes, there's a theme of wine and grapes, but again, that doesn't mean it's 500mg of resveratrol, or even close. The worst thing is they don't tell you how much actual resveratrol is in there--even though they do know. No, I changed my mind. Actually the worst thing is the deceptive marketing practice of trying to make people THINK they're taking half-a-gram of resveratrol, when they're actually not. I'm not saying the other ingredients are bad, but clearly most reviewers think they're getting something that they're not. I could see having a proprietary blend when people don't need to know the exact proportions, and when the ratio is so special that the manufacturer needs to protect their recipe. Neither seems to be the case with this. In my opinion, it's purely to make you think you're getting something you're not. Purposeful deception, even if legal, makes even a good product bad, in my book.
