Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I'm revising a review that I submitted previously, but prematurely. My previous review awarded three stars, simply because it's a mediocre product AT BEST, but I changed my opinion after discovering that some small switches I applied this stuff to had disintegrated. The plastic housing containing the electronics (possibly some sort of polystyrene plastic) had welded together, as if I had glued it using acetone, so I had to pry it open with a small screwdriver to gain access to the switch, and when I attempted the move the switch, it was frozen. Applying greater (but not excessive) force to move the switch, the plastic slider broke off, rending it useless. This happened on not just one switch, every one that I had applied this to. These were unimportant items I destroyed using this spray, and feel fortunate I didn't damage anything I really value. The claims of this product being "safe" with all plastics is simply false. In any case, even if it does not damage your components, it simply doesn't work very well, and has almost zero lubricant properties. I feel very betrayed by the reviews on this product, as they made me feel comfortable about the purchase, despite the very low price. There's no "free lunch".
