I looooooooove this little dutch oven! It holds much more than you would think!!! It is beautiful, in person! Well...maybe i should say, cute, and adorable! Well made! Cleans up so easily! You could use a plastic scrubber...but i never need to use one. Just soak for 30 minutes, and it cleans up so easily!!! I only use Polmolive Original Dish Liquid on my enameled cast iron pans. It doesn't contain citrus, or citric acid in it...this will keep the enamel's shine from dulling. I only use silicone utensils on my enameled pans. Oven, and stove top use. You only need to use a lower heat with this. Once it comes up to temperature, it stays hot. Cooks like a dream! Worth every penny! Lid fits well. I cooked 6 cubed potatoes in it, and made potato soup...enough for 3 people! I will make one half of a small roast, in it, for my husband, and myself. Who knew Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Pans,were so great! You do have to follow instructions, if you want your pan to hold up for years. I treat mine like they are gold. They aren't Lecreuset, but they are very close, in quality. I own Lecreuset, and love their dutch ovens. I can now say i love Lodge Dutch Ovens too!!! You can make enough chili to feed 2 people good sized portions! When you first unpack this little dutch oven, don't think it is too small to cook much in. Give it a try...you will be surprised at how much it holds! Great for a couple! To give you a better idea of how much this holds, i added a photo. This is 2 cans of green beans! It could have held more. Update...after 3 times using the rim on lid has rusted. I always washed it immediately, and towel dried it. If it has matte enamel on the rims, why is it rusting??? So disappointed!
