My Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" became unresponsive while trying to delete videos. It then shut itself off and won't turn back on. Amazon support tried one restart cycle (hold the power button for 20 sec, then press once more to turn on) and gave up. Of course it is out of stock at the moment, so the replacement won't get here before leaving for Thanksgiving travel, which I specifically ordered it for. Time for a refund I guess. It also might be worth noting there is no gmail app. It's not a deal-breaker, but surprised me. UPDATE (Nov 20) Amazon reported more 8.9" HDX in stock shortly after my initial support call. They are currently rushing me a replacement to get here before I leave for vacation. I'll update my rating if the replacement works. One of the support emails I received also indicated they have been able to recreate the issue with deleting Prime videos and are working on a fix, for what it's worth.
