★★☆☆☆
Low quality materials make these very cute shoes extremely overpriced...get ready for disappointment!
I didn't just want to like these...I wanted to LOVE these, and buy every pair available. I mean, how cute, right? Bright, fun designs on a fun Mary Jane, and even cuter heels, how can you go wrong?! I'm a pretty frugal person...I'm the girl who shops the clearance section of Ross and Burlington first, so a purchase this pricey (and really, unnecessary) is a rarity. But I threw caution to the wind, ordered them, and counted down the days until I received them. I got the delivery text from Amazon while I was at work, and was so excited to show off my new funky shoes to my colleagues that I drove thirty miles on my lunch to get them. With six people crammed in my office, I hurriedly opened Amazon's box, and we ooh-ed and aah-ed over the quirky milk carton that housed these magical Mary Janes. Then...epic disappointment. Inside the milk carton was a pair of poorly constructed shoes comprised of low quality material. Made with a thin, cheap rubbery fabric, they tops dimpled when I put them on, and rubbed my toes with every step. The dimpling made them look like something you would find at Payless or Walmart, as opposed to a one-of-a-kind product made by an innovative shoe designer. If these were around $30, I would say the quality is worth the cost, and would buy every pair available. If they had a hard toe, I would say they were worth $50 or $60, and may buy one or two more pairs. But for $70, they're so shoddy that I just can't justify it. They were returned the same day, with a few tears of sadness in the box.
