My son received this on 9/11/18 for his 11th birthday, and yesterday while riding down the street, he nearly killed himself because the handlebars broke. The metal "gear like" part of the handle bar tube that inserts from the bars down into the frame of the bicycle broke and split in half, he, and the bars (now attached to the bicycle only by the brake cable) went headfirst over the front wheel while racing down the street. This bicycle has been ridden for less than a month, he is devastated and I am irate. There is no option to return or request a refund or replacement for this purchase, I am assuming because I purchased it more than 30 days ago (prior to his actual birthday).
