Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Bought two of these based on the Wirecutter's recommendation. They're fine umbrellas, except the close/release mechanism broke on one of them within a month of use. No problem, they're "Backed by totes’ lifetime warranty"! Right? Well they are, except the warranty conditions requires you to not only pay for shipping to them, but also $5 towards return shipping. Add it up, and the shipping costs isn't much than just buying a new one here on Amazon (with free shipping,) making the warranty effectively useless.
