Two things first before the review of MH's new Breakfast Skillet 1- I have been enjoying the original MH Breakfast Skillet for many years and did consider it to be my favorite MH meal. Many times it's been devoured for more than just breakfast. 2- I have already read many negative reviews of the MH's new Breakfast Skillet but could not believe that MN made such a change to the recipe and would actually keep the original name if it really tasted so different. My review is simple, I'm returning the other 5 packets that I purchased at the same time and will never eat MH's new Breakfast Skillet again. - I agree with all the other negitve reviews, I was hoping the other reviews were just that, reviews in today's world, all negiative. But after trying it for myself all the negative reviews are truthful. - it taste nothing like the original Breakfast Skillet. Not really sure how to describe the taste other than maybe Garbage is fitting - the sausage feels like rubber when trying to choke it down - personally I can't understand how anyone at MH approved using the original Breakfast Skillet name for this stuff and also can't believe the ones responsible at MH for the change could say the taste compares to the original with a straight face or that they think it's even taste ok. Please don't trust my review. Buy one and try it at home before on the trail. If you agree that the new Breakfast Skillet is Garbage then write MH. MH needs to be informed before they turn some of their other meals into Garbage as they have with the new Breakfast Skillet. Update January 2022 So MH brought back the “Classic” breakfast skillet. Although very smart on their part you have to question why. Were the sales of the “New” that poor or did they personally try the Breakfast Skillet from Peak Refuel. Yes, you need to try Peak Refuel’s breakfast skillet for yourself. The “Classic” will find room in my backpack but it will be below the Peak Refuel
