NOT FAA APPROVED only gave one star because I couldn't post without a rating...
Let me begin by saying that I am a 19 year Flight Attendant...THIS product IS NOT ALLOWED to be used on ANY aircraft and IS NOT approved by the FAA for use on any aircraft. The information states that it is "compliant" with FAA regulations...it says nothing about being FAA approved, which it would have to in order to be used on an airplane (we are required to check devices for a particular label that tells us it is FAA approved we are also subject to a personal fine if we break any FAA regulations...allowing use of this device would fall into that category). It is wrong in SO many ways...Just think about it...this could cause more injury to the child...if the infant is held by the parent, in turbulence, the person holding the child will more than likely hold on tighter...with this device the child will go flying out...also, when the person in front reclines their seat, it can cause injury to the child...and that little "hook" that it is attached to? Well guess what...that is not there to hang anything on...that is just the way it is designed...(and it is going to change because people are hanging things on them and we see more broken ones every day. Tray tables are certainly not designed to hold the weight of an infant). Go on the FAA website (FAA.gov) to the list of FAA approved child restraints, nowhere does it list this product!!! But it will list all approved restraints... Any Flight Attendant who allows this device to be used, is not doing their job properly and does care about your (or your child's) safety. Unfortunately, we do have some Flight Attendants who do not care about or pay attention to what's going on in the cabin...if you want to buy it for other uses, it might be ok...BUT PLEASE...on behalf of your child and all of us Safety Professionals who care about your child's safety...don't even THINK about bringing it on an airplane? I give this negative 10 stars...
