Do not buy this case or any others made by Obliq. I purchased this phone case for my Samsung Galaxy S7 in the beginning of March. When it arrived, I was very relieved to know that my brand new S7 was finally safe. This was proven to be a mere illusion when my phone slipped out of my pocket and fell 3 feet flat onto its face on the cement. Expecting it to be entirely undamaged when I picked it up, I raised the phone to my lap and prepared to end the video I was filming. Just then, however, I noticed a pattern of cracks across my screen. These cracks spread from one end of the metal siding all the way to the other end, enveloping the entire "gorilla glass" surface. As I panicked, I began to blame myself for this unfortunate accident, but then I remembered the drop test videos that I had watched on Youtube. According to all of the footage that I'd seen, my phone should have been fine. This leads me to believe that the poor design of my Obliq case is responsible for the extensive damage my S7 suffered. So much for my PROTECTIVE Obliq casemail. Now, I must go pay a $175 deductible to replace my new phone.
