It's L-theanine and it works like theanine, but it's no more effective than buying bulk theanine powder and putting a little dab of it under your tongue for sublingual absorption. At $17.95 it's dramatically over-priced to the point of being a complete rip-off. Each bottle contains 29 servings of theanine @ 200 mg per serving for a total of 5.8 grams of actual L-theanine per bottle. You can buy 50 GRAMS of pure L-theanine powder or 250 servings for less than $16 on Amazon. And please don't buy into the marketing hype about Suntheanine being superior. It's just a brand name for L-theanine, nothing more and nothing less. You can also make your own version of this easily with the bulk powdered theanine, vegetable glycerin and some liquid stevia. I give this product two stars because it works...just like any other less expensive theanine.
