NOT the Wheel of Time. This is an In Name Only "adaption"
This show has about as much in common with the source material as the Star Ship Troopers movie had with the source material. They took all of 30 seconds of intro monologue to destroy all the mythology that drives the actual (book) story. They flushed the key theme that things work better when men and women work together - right. off. the. bat. Then removed the duality of the One Power. Then removed the coming of age part of it. Then absolutely disgraced Moraine (would an Aes Sedai purposefully destroy a village to "save" it?). Then the ruined the "dark one" in their dreams, then went ahead and flushed the rest of it. If you've ever read the books and even just liked them, do NOT watch this - it will make you angry. If you have NOT read the books (or listened to the fantastic audible versions - ignoring the one that Rosamund Park narrates) and enjoyed the show, I would advise you to either never pick the books up and preserve your ignorance, or read the books and forget the show. There is no way possible to get back from where they took it.
