I'm not a luddite. I own an Iphone, iPad, MacBook Pro...etc. etc. etc. But I detest spending a lot of time setting up, figuring out and having to create yet another cyber account to watch a few TV Shows! I ask you: IS THIS REALLY NECESSARY??? WHAT HAVE WE COME TO?? I admit I tend to be on the old school side of things; like reading from a reaI book with a good binding and playing music on a honest-to-God piano with ivory keys instead of a synthesizer ......but this over-wrought TV that has to announce the number every time I turn the volume up or down, borders on a robotic holocaust to me!!! It's like having an annoying, unpleasant family member with whom you are forced to engage. As far as I can tell, I can't turn the voice - BIXBY is it's name... (don't even get me started on the name...what? did a bunch of Samsung Execs sit around and try to think of an English-butler-esq name for their virtual TV servant without wanting to resort to calling it Hobson, Geeves or.....egad! Pennyworth? BIXBY?? Really?) Anyway, I can't turn it off without first agreeing to every piece of spyware they've installed on this thing so I can set up the Voice Recognition simply to turn it off!!! I'm sorry, I don't want my appliances to talk to me. If I want to know something, I'll look it up myself. I tossed Siri in the bin....and I'm sending Bixby back to whence he, she or it came. My kingdom for a stupid TV! Just my 2 cents
