Was reading through the Q&A on this product and noticed a question from a purchaser regarding the splatter shield for the convection fan not being present on the unit they received. I ordered what should have been the DT201 model online from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and had the same exact issue. Based on feedback given to the original poster I checked the model number, and sure enough the unit itself was labeled as the DT200. Contacted Ninja directly and they confirmed that the DT200 does not have the splatter shield for the fan while the DT201 does. This is definitely a problem that originates with Ninja as the box from the manufacturer lists DT201 as the model number. We attempted to exchange the one we ordered online in store and had the same exact experience...the box was labeled correctly but the unit itself did not match. Overall Ninja was incredibly unhelpful and seemed totally unconcerned with the discrepancy. It’s worth mentioning that the ONLY place I was able to find the DT200 model listed for sale was WalMart and it is advertised as an 8-in-1 model that is $80 cheaper than any other retailer selling what is advertised as the 10-in-1 DT201 model. Overall this seems to be a super shady bait and switch on the part of Ninja.
