I just purchased this and less than two months after purchase I hear a static/sparking noise if I so much as move the power strip when there is a plug inserted. I tried it with multiple plugs and while I can't *see* a spark, I can hear it sparking inside--there's definitely a short inside there somewhere. This is a cheaply made product and I wonder how it's put together inside. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! I bought this because of the name Belkin. But as many news stories have pointed out, you have no idea who is making these products since Amazon has changed their policies and knockoffs are flooding their pages. Unfortunately, Amazon tells me it's past the return date for this item. Terrible.
