I don't understand all the hoopla about thus book. The main character is portrayed as possibly autistic or developmentally delayed but that's never fully explained. It really bothered me that the location was impossible. Half the characters speak as if they were caricatures of British figures and then there are other obvious American flags. Overall it's not a book I would recommend. The plot is implausible, characters are cartoons and it's just too superficial and fake.
