Seller "HOME & KITCHEN USA" states on their product page it's "HEAT RESISTANT UP TO 600ºF. These strainers can be quickly immersed into boiling water blanch vegetables like spinach broccoli, green beans etc." This is copied/pasted directly from their page. And, it's exactly how I used the product, to blanch broccoli. The gray and the red part melted. It feels like the red is silicon and the gray is plastic. I posted a pic. I called the seller "HOME & KITCHEN USA" and I could barely hear the customer service agent. She refused to speak to her manager to give me a refund and said she'd talk to Amazon and her manager then email me in 4 days. 4 days? This is false advertising. It should be simple -refund. There's no way this product can withstand 600F without melting. I will remove this review if I get a refund, but since she was defensive and didn't attempt to refund me in a reasonable timeframe, I'm doubtful it will happen. We'll see.
