Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I love making dehydrated fruits and veggies, they are great healthy snacks and having my own dehydrator saves me lots of money and gives me complete control over additives. The model I have had for a while died after much use so I needed to replace it and after reading the glowing reviews on this one I bought it. I was shocked to find that my box had not instruction manual or any sort of product information in it; it was literary just a dehydrator in a box (and yes, this was new and supplied by Amazon). I looked up some general suggestions online for running times on this machine and after washing and setting everything up started simple- with thinly sliced apples. Two days later, they still are not dry and I had to throw them out. I again when to Google to see if I made some sort of mistake and I tried again with the same results. I am not sure if my unit was defective or if the reviews are all bought and paid for to defraud customers but I will never buy something from this line again as it proved to be waste of $100 and a lot of produce. If there was a "0" stars, that is what I would give this product and I never leave poor reviews but I did not want anyone else to be duped like I was.
