Is this really SAM-E?
Not convinced that this is SAM-E. It's cheaper, in capsules, and 500 mg. However, instructions are to take it with a meal. Anyone who takes SAM-e knows you have to take it one hour before or two hours after a meal. There are inspiring certifications on the bottle, but one is FDA. I have never seen any mention of FDA on a nonpharmaceutical supplement. Label declares that contents have been assayed. Seems like the label already says some pretty questionable things.
So... After taking one capsules pre-breakfast and one pre-dinner, for over 3 weeks, I was seriously questioning the efficacy. Today I took two capsules before breakfast, and felt nothing. If I had taken two 400mg tabs of Jarrow, Nature Made, or Doctor's Best, at one time, I would have been crawling up the walls. I learned early on that 1200 mg was too much for me in a day. 800 is excellent. But clearly 1000 mg of WELOVEVITAMINS SAM-E was not doing what I expected.
Granted, it's a new company. Perhaps the Sam-e isn't stored at a low temperature? Is it even possible to deliver Sam-e in a gel-cap?
Regardless, I'd ordered two bottles, and I'll be returning the second one. This may be less expensive, but if it's not SAM-E, then it's not much of a savings!
To the manufacturer...the guy with the good intentions: show us the assays and quality Certification that the ingredients in your pills are what they purport to be. Could be this brand just doesn't work for me.
