I am livid with Ring. I've had two Rings since last year and have paid $30 for the annual cloud storage plan, and yesterday they deleted all of the history for no reason, and without notice. The reason I pay for storage is so if something happened there would be video evidence on hand. A few weeks ago unfortunately we had someone who stabbed a person in our neighborhood jump our fence and threaten us with the knife he used, all caught on video by our Ring. That video evidence was imperative for the court proceedings and a successful conviction. Since Ring deleted all history saved in cloud storage without notice or warning, that evidence is now gone. This scenario is the entire reason Ring exists and why we have it, and it's now completely failed us. I contacted the company and all they could say was that once everything is deleted, it is gone forever. No apology or explanation. This is totally unacceptable.
